Global Village

The latest Internet phenomenon to catch my interest (OK obsess about) is the growing global community drawn to the plight of two bald eagle's eggs 120 feet above the Pacific Ocean on Hornby Island, BC.Alas, but one intact shell remains and its fate is an ongoing concern of nearly 10 million visitors a day from around the world. This global watch which has brought so many together is summed up best here. We need to take a close look at what is the commonality that bring together millions across borders, culture and ideology. The answer could save the world.
